Kenny Margolis is best known as the keyboard/accordion player for
the popular and critically acclaimed rock band, Cracker, but
Margolis is much more than the man the New York Post called
"the master of the stomach Steinway."
From his days with Mink DeVille when that group broke out of the original CBGB scene to become a sensation in Europe, Margolis has been highly sought after as both a recording session player and a member of touring bands.
In addition to
his personal projects with his zydeco rock band, Lucky
7 and Joe Hurley & Rogue's March/the Gents, Margolis has

The UpSouth Twisters is a new band, but it isnt. It's the guys from Lucky 7 under a new name, and their brand new cd is available from CDBaby now! The CD features the band's signature sound including accordion, electric and acoustic guitars, upright bass, harmonica, mandolin, drums, rub board, timbales and other percussion, piano and organ plus the guest appearance of Levon Helm’s horn players Erik Lawrence and Steve Bernstein on several tunes.
